Luckily, Dick turns around and uses a Batarang to jam the gun, causing it to misfire in his face. However, Fletcher gets the drop on Nightwing, pointing his gun at the back of his head. This works, and Gar is forced to answer a security question: "What's the name of the one who got away?" The answer is, of course, Selina Kyle, as Tim guesses. Nightwing then decides to go in himself, leaving Tim in charge of guiding Gar through the process, advising him to cut the red wire, a big no-no in action films. Nightwing guides Gar through the process as Jason defends them. In Dick's room, Gar and Jason regroup, with the latter covering the former as he sets up the router they need. Jason then disarms the surprised cops, taking them all down in short order. When he opens it up, Wayne Manor's alarm goes off. As that's happening, Gar smashes into Dick's window. Crane tells the cops to bring Red Hood to him, noting they'll kill him after the city is finished. Inside Wayne Manor, though, the GCPD catches Jason. Conner accepts his apology, noting he's not really one to judge, alluding to destroying Blackfire's ship. Dick then calls Superboy over and apologizes for using kryptonite on him. In Tim's base, the Titans - including Superboy and Blackfire - try figuring out where Scarecrow has placed his bombs, knowing that it's in someway based off the Auden poem he was listening to earlier in "Purple Rain." Starfire brainstorms a plan to use the Lazarus Pit on a grand scale, though she doesn't quite know what that entails. Not only does this kill those inside the building, but the bomb floods the streets of Gotham City with a toxic gas. To prove he's not playing around, Scarecrow destroys the building lit up by the Titans signal. Scarecrow interrupts the conversation to say there are ten bombs hidden across the city. Dick gets a call from Barbara and sees the Titans signal shining on a building. Dick says he'll contact Jason, otherwise to meet him in three hours at the spot where he dropped him off. However, before she can leave the room, Barbara contacts her.ĭriving back together, Dick lets Jason out of the car, saying his presence would cause problems with the Titans. In response, Koriand'r/Starfire walks away. Blackfire then ata she understands just why Superboy did what he did and essentially forgives him. Superboy claims he didn't intend to blow up Blackfire's ship, though no one believes him. With the three united, they head out to help Dick against Scarecrow, with Tim joining them in the fight. While at first the battle seems unlikely to go in favor of our heroes, Rachel Roth/Raven and Gar Logan/Beast Boy intervene, taking out the police. During the battle, Tim Drake reveals he learned some key fighting moves from Donna and Hank Hall/Hawk while they were journeying through the afterlife. Vee then shows Barbara an entire team of A.R.G.U.S. However, she correctly guesses Crane used the Lazarus Pit to resurrect Jason and Dick after their deaths. Vee reveals to Barbara that Ra's al Ghul put a Lazarus Pit in Gotham City as part of a larger plan.
